Disciplined research, built for long-term decision making
Süßfeldalm was founded on a simple premise: investment decisions should be grounded in tested logic, not sentiment. Here's how we approach that work.
Why Süßfeldalm exists
Süßfeldalm began as an internal research project among a small group of analysts frustrated by how much investment commentary relied on narrative rather than evidence. The goal was to build a disciplined framework that could be backtested, questioned, and improved over time rather than a product built around predictions or hype.
That same principle still guides how we build today: every strategy, model, and recommendation is expected to show its work. If an approach cannot be examined and tested against historical data, it does not belong in our process.
What we're working toward
We aim to give investors and businesses a clearer, evidence-based way to evaluate income diversification strategies — replacing guesswork with structured, repeatable analysis.
The principles behind our process
These are the standards we hold ourselves to when developing and presenting any strategy.
Evidence Over Opinion
Every strategy is reviewed against historical data before it is presented. We favor what can be tested over what sounds convincing.
Transparency
We aim to be clear about assumptions, limitations, and the fact that past performance does not guarantee future results.
Continuous Refinement
Markets change, and so should the tools used to understand them. We treat our models as ongoing work, not finished products.
Who's behind Süßfeldalm
